Kim discovered a deep love and passion for teaching yoga while working as a preschool teacher where she shared breathing techniques, yoga, and story adventures with her little friends. Working alongside her little friends and seeing the impacts of practicing mindfulness and taking a pause to breathe throughout the day, ignited a fire within that took her on a 95-hour children's yoga teacher training journey with Childlight Education Company.
Kim's personal yoga practice began ten years ago and has been a transformative, beautiful journey that has allowed her to move through each day with peace, a sense of wonder and grace with every step.
Kim loves to be active outdoors, hiking, biking, playing. sports, and breathing in all that nature has provided. When not outside or doing yoga you can find her in the kitchen creating nourishing meals for her family.
While teaching kid's yoga and leaving each class with a full heart, Kim wanted to share her heart and love of yoga not only with her little friends but with teens and adults so that they too can see the impact of a breath and how it can change the course of a moment, a day. Kim continued her professional teaching journey completing a 200hr teacher training with CEC. Most recently, Kim has completed a 250hr teacher training with mentor, Alicia Rambo of Easton Yoga.
Kim's lighthearted approach to teaching yoga brings her students, young and old, back to the playfulness of their childhood leaving them with a sense of joy and wonder in their hearts. Students may find themselves dancing on their mats, reaching for the sun, taking deep breaths, and discovering a little more about themselves.
Each class is an opportunity and a unique journey to explore our fierce mind, brave spirit, and kind heart.
